Finn and I are eager to share our vast and unique experience with young adults that have a passion for working with young children.
To foster their ability to feel confident within themselves and others, giving them a conscious and mindful approach while learning how to manage other children and provide the ideal learning environment for each learner.
We also believe it is essential to give our campers exposure to different instructors and people to give them more opportunities to express themselves.
Boost Your Resume
Through the experiences you have working for a camp, you will be able to proudly put on your resume that you not only survived working for a camp but thrived in the environment as well.
Your time management, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills will see a great improvement over your time with us, because you’ll be using them all day every day! These skills in particular are useful for college & college interviews, as well as future job opportunities.
Whether it’s immersing yourself in new activities, or understanding other people better, you will continue to learn and grow as the program goes on.
Finn and I will be willing to sign off on Highschool Volunteer Hours and provide a letter of reference at the end of the camp and/or program.
Who we are looking for…
We are looking for instructors who feel inspired to work with children of all ages and who can be resourceful, problem solve, take initiative, have fun, are conscious, loving, and confidently able to lead 7 participants at a time. We are looking for instructors who are able to share their own passions and gifts that promote creativity and authenticity.
Applicants must be 17 years of age and have a passion for working with children.
- Take a half day in house training
- Be on site 30 min before & after their shift for checkin/ reflection
- Sing, dance and have fun
- Willing and available to instruct a group of 7 campers
- Offer a program that fosters each participants overall well being
- Use their own gifts and talents within the programing
An Incredible Experience
While some of your friends are stuck inside helping at their parents’ offices or working in restaurants, you will be outside adventuring with campers and fellow staff members at all the various activities that recreational camp programs have to offer.
Learn so much about yourself during this time and, in the end, you’ll be able to look back and be proud of all that you made it through.
You’ll emerge a more confident, open, and happy person, and you can bring that forward in your everyday life. On top of the memories you’ll make, you’ll have a better sense of purpose from camp, and maybe even discover what you want to do in the future or where you are being guided to next.
Training Schedule
Finn and I have 15 years experience in mindfulness and personal development tools and strategies and see the value in not only sharing these tools with our young participants but also in sharing these tips with eager young adults, who are looking for a different approach to learning and growing and/or who are looking to one day working with children.
There will be a one day training to prepare for each camp and/or program.
Camp Schedule:
Spring 2023 Program (8 wks, Saturdays, 10am-3pm) – TBA
Summer 2023 Camp (2 full weeks, Monday – Friday, 10am-3pm) – TBA
Fall 2023 Program (8wks, Saturdays, 10am-3pm)- TBA
Day Camps (In-Service Days, 10am-3pm)- TBA
Spend each day with the other instructors working together as a team to make camp successful for everyone involved.

For however long you have the opportunity to interact with the campers, you quickly become one of the coolest (and most influential) people in their lives.
Make a real impact on the lives of the littles ones you interact with on a daily basis.
At camp you’ll become like an older brother or sister to your campers. They’ll look up to you and come to you for advice. And no matter how many years go by, they’ll continue to tell their camp stories about amazing memories that you made happen.
